ABOUT
Munchies @ 3rd Hampton is a Breakfast, After School or Wrap Around Care club run by Linda Allen.
We are a play organisation and we make sure that we provide interesting play opportunities for the children to explore and enjoy. We have a great safe and secure outside space for the children to run around in (weather permitting) and to play lots of outdoor activities.
All our staff have been trained in play, and the different
types of play. They will try to encourage the children's free spirit to make up their own games and explore relationships with their peers. Play also develops the creative process and growth of problem solving skills which ultimately help children to achieve.
Play is time for them to develop a sense of wellbeing by being allowed to experience who they are or might be. Through play children can question themselves, learn to speak for themselves and form identities. This helps children define who they are and to develop their sense of wellbeing.
The different types of play are all encouraged, we have dressing up, structured activities, crafts, den making, toys, skipping ropes, all the old favourites, also different things to help the children explore. They can also play football, cricket or tennis or if they prefer they can relax with a book, watch TV or play on the Wii.
Breakfast and afternoon snacks are provided with the focus being on healthy choices.
Fresh fruit is always on offer for the children.
We celebrate cultures and festivals of all sorts, enjoying the sounds and food from countries near and far.
OUR STAFF
All our staff are DBS checked and are all first aid trained. We all go on training courses which are updated regularly.

Your child's safety is our utmost priority and we make sure that while they are with us they are SAFE AND SECURE. We make sure that we have the right ratio of staff to children and that all our safety measures are always in place and are constantly being updated.
